AMBASSADOR PROF. MRS. MARY LAR

The Founder and Chairwoman of  the Auntie Mary Literacy Project which includes schools, training programs for teachers, adult literacy programs as well as vocational training programs in Nigeria.

Ambassador Lar has been deeply involved in Education and Christian Ministry throughout her life. She has attended all three World Congress on Evangelism Conferences more popularly known as Lausanne I, II, III by invitation. During the latest Lausanne Conference (Lausanne III) held in South Africa, Ambassador Lar presented a paper entitled Evangelism in the Marketplace”.

Ambassador Lar served as the Nigerian Ambassador to the Netherlands from 2004 – 2006.

   

MRS EMILY AIG-IMOKHUEDE

Member of the board of trustees of WAWA Nigeria
Member of the Assessor Committee for the Nigerian National Merit Award Board of Trustees in 1979, she has served  as Director on several Boards including, Nigerian Mining Corporation (1985), Nigerian Cargo Company Limited (1987-91),  National Universities Commission (1989-1993), Warri Refinery (1989-1993). She was a distinguished visiting lecturer at Nigerian Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies on Women and Civil Society activities (1991, 1992). In 1993, she served as Minister of State, Ministry of State and Local Government Affairs and a member of the Transitional Council.

In 1992, she received the Nigerian Institute for Public Relations (NIPR) Award for Excellence for outstanding community relations. In 1993 she received the Queen Amina Foundation Award for utmost dedication to the cause of humanity and great contributions to the betterment of Nigerian womanhood. Also in 1993, she was invested Very Important Citizen of Edo State by the first executive governor, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun.

She has travelled far and near in Africa, Asia, Europe and the United States of America for conferences on Women and children.

   

CHIEF DR. OPRAL BENSON MANSON MON, OON, FloD

She is a politician and a fashion designer. She is popularly known as “IYA OGE OF LAGOS” which means The Queen of Hearts of Lagos/ Nigeria.

   

BARRISTER DR. MRS. SENETOR JOY EMODI

She effectively contributed at the 5th Annual Edith of the ECOWAS-West African Women Anglo-phones and Franco-phones Countries held in Dakar at the Presidential Hotel Senegal August 2009. She was appointed a sit in the ECOWAS-Parliament in 2006 to 2010. An election observer for ECOWAS-Parliament in Serra-Lonne (2007).
She is a seasoned Educationist, Lawyer, grass-roots politician and a renowned philanthropist. She was the first Igbo woman to be elected senator in the Southern-Eastern part of Nigeria and the first female to be re-elected to a second term in the Nigerian Senate.

   

CHIEF (MRS) PANSY OLAKANPO

She is a member of the Board of trustee of the West African Women Association (WAWA) National Chapter. who has always played prominent role for the sustainability of the chapter generally. She is the Asiwaju Fiwajoye of Ibadan Land, the Arobake of Ijebu Igbo, the Managing Director of Rosehall Property Limited and the President of Soroptimist International (SI) Lagos. She has been a huge donor in supporting West African Women in all endeavours.
